What is MintClips?
MintClips is an AI video generator that produces complete videos from a single prompt — script, voiceover, scenes, and captions, all rendered and stitched into a finished file. It replaces the chain of separate tools (script writer, TTS, image generator, video editor) you'd otherwise wire together yourself.
How long does it take to generate a video?
Most videos are ready in under two minutes from prompt submission. The exact time depends on length and style — talking-head clips render fastest because there's only one visual track to generate; cinematic narration with multiple AI-generated scenes takes a little longer.
What kind of videos can I make?
Anything that fits a script: marketing creative, explainers, brand stories, product demos, training content, personal content. You're not locked into a particular format or aspect ratio. Pick portrait, landscape, or square. Pick a talking head or a narrated cinematic — both come out broadcast-ready.
What AI models power MintClips?
We route across the best models for each step: large language models for script generation, ElevenLabs for voice synthesis, Kling and Nano Banana for image and video generation. You don't pick or configure them — MintClips chooses the right model for each scene automatically.
Can I edit the video after it's generated?
Yes. Every video opens in an editor where you can rewrite captions, swap a voice, regenerate a single scene without touching the rest, change the music, or trim timing. Nothing is locked.
How does pricing work?
Pricing launches with the public release. We use a credit-based model — generation costs scale with video length and the AI models used. Everyone on the waitlist gets pricing details (and any early-access deals) before public launch.
Can I use my own characters or voices?
Yes. Upload a reference image and MintClips will generate consistent character shots from it. Voice cloning is supported via ElevenLabs — bring your own narrator or pick from the preset library.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New accounts get a small grant of free credits — enough to generate your first video and see how the pipeline works before deciding whether to subscribe.
